Although my main passion is in the field of photography, I also enjoy creating sculptural pieces of art generally for personal enjoyment. On the left is a sculpture which represents a person constructed and framed by society. The person in the centre of the sphere is connected to the sphere by metal wire which represents the pressure which stems from post-modern society to become the ‘ideal’, by being slim, wearing labelled clothing, having the latest accessories etc.

I also indulge in experimenting and connecting different mediums within my work. On the right is a sculpture which is in the shape of a tree and represents the history of photography. On the branches of the tree I attached metal rectangles and used Lazertran to print my images onto, then fixed these to the rectangles. The images start with daguerreotype images, then traditional photography and finally digital photography. This piece gave me a great insight into the history of photography.
