On the right are book’s which I made which comprise of photographs of reflections from buildings in Berlin. The photographs were taken around Postdamer Platz because the area was completely flattened with the construction of the Berlin Wall in 1961, and the reconstructed buildings were made out of modern materials such as metal and glass. The unusual shapes and materials within the buildings attracted me, as the reflections given off were amazing.

The fall of the Berlin wall allowed, for the first time in over 30 years, a chance for the east and west to reflect and compliment each other. Commerce grew and with free trade came the rejuvenation of the city. These books show my perception of those reflections through the new found prosperity of the united city.

My books were shown at the London Book Fair and received great feedback. I had an offer to buy the books, but I felt they were too personal and meaningful to me to sell.

On the left is an image of one of the papers in which my 2004 exhibition (The Four Elements) was shown. The exhibition was covered by three newspapers and was a great success.
